From time to time we share event opportunities from other clubs.  After our very successful joing program with Columbia and Ross School of Business last fall, Columbia is inviting Penn alumni to the above screening; details . . .
 

 

Michael DiBiasio - an up-and-coming filmmaker from Brooklyn & Columbia alum - is screening his new movie The Videoblogs in Detroit on Thursday, May 26!  


Background: The Videoblogs, about mental health in the age of tech, provides a view into the life of a struggling young woman which takes a surprise turn when a troubled teenager finds her private video journal. Writer/Director Michael DiBiasio will be in attendance for a post-screening Q&A/panel discussion, along with the film's co-producer and Lead Actress Rebecca De Ornelas. The event is co-hosted by the Columbia Alumni Association of Michigan & NAMI Metro

BIO: Michael DiBiasio, Writer & Director

Michael is a Writer and Filmmaker of hopeful stories for complex people (and also some silly comedic material). He currently lives in Brooklyn, NY with his talented wife and cute pets. Michael is also the Host of Coffee with Creatives, a podcast wherein he interviews creative peers from various industries on how to create great work and how to keep creating it.
