Friday, May 5, 2017Penn alum, Allison Jegla, C16, has asked us to invite our club members to this year's Joyce Ivy Foundation event. Allison is a member of the Joyce Ivy Foundation leadership team. Joyce Ivy is a nonprofit organization committed to the academic advancement and leadership development of young women from the Midwest. Allison was awarded a scholarship from Joyce Ivy while she was in high school in Michigan, and it drastically changed the trajectory of her life. The foundation is hosting its annual Ivy+ cocktail reception in Ypsilanti next Friday, and Allison would love to see fellow Penn alumni there!

Learn more about the Joyce Ivy Foundation and its work to encourage talented young women from Michigan, and other parts of the Midwest, to apply to highly selective colleges and universities, including our alma maters. The Foundation recently announced the 2017 cohort of Summer Scholars, including 32 students from Michigan.
Admissions officers from many of our institutions will attend the reception and provide updates on the 2017 admissions cycle.
